Leena's Art Studio creates abstract acrylic paintings that speak where language falls short. Each canvas is built in layers of color and gesture, carrying feeling that anyone can relate to, wherever they come from.

My name is Leena and I am a refugee from South Africa. I am passionate about my painting and feel that paint on a canvas can speak a language that anyone can relate to.
Sharing your emotions with others without words is sometimes closing the gap in communication that is lacking in the world today. I don't just make pretty pictures, I speak through my art.

Yes. Every canvas listed is an original, one of one abstract acrylic painting, hand-finished and signed in the studio. Selected works are also available as limited, signed prints in editions of 50.
Originals ship unframed, ready to hang or frame. Smaller pieces are wrapped and boxed. Larger pieces may ship rolled or crated depending on size. Prints ship rolled in a protective tube. All orders include tracking and insurance.
Available works usually ship within 3 to 5 business days. Delivery inside the United States typically takes 5 to 10 business days once shipped. Book and course pre-orders are delivered at launch, announced by email.
The Colors That Carried Me and the Abstract Acrylics Foundations course are both in progress. Pre-ordering reserves your signed first edition copy or your course seat, and you will be notified by email the moment they are ready.
Yes. Leena accepts a limited number of commissions each year. Reach out through the contact form with a description of what you are looking for, the size, and your timing, and she will respond with next steps.
International shipping is available on request. Contact the studio before ordering with your destination and the work you are interested in for a quote and estimated timeline.
Keep the work out of direct sunlight and away from high humidity or heat sources. Dust gently with a soft, dry brush. For framing recommendations, feel free to contact the studio.
